UD Trucks Thailand, the Japanese heritage truck maker in Thailand, has successfully sealed the deal of 50 UD Questers with Tipco Asphalt Public Company Limited, the forefront of the asphalt industry in Asia.
According to Mrs. Wilawan Vispapaew, Volvo Group Vice President for Marketing and Sales Support, the truck delivery had been done for the first 30 units recently at Tipco Rayong Site while the rest of 20 units were expected to be handed over soon. The 50 UD Questers are the UD Quester GWE11 64T 370HP 12sp and 9sp.
“The big lot has confirmed our confident on the product quality. Off course, not only product quality to assure our customers, but our after sales service is also the other one important factor to satisfy our customers. Today, we have received big lot of 50 trucks from Tipco Asphalt and we also have a number of customers in pipeline to discuss now,” said Mrs. Wilawan.
She said Tipco Asphalt had ordered 50 UD Questers with three-year “Ultimate” service agreement contract because the customer had to strengthen its logistic operation to serve its growing business of asphalt transportation.
“The three-year ‘Ultimate’ service agreement will assure Tipco Asphalt that their trucks will be running 24hrs a day which complying our slogan of ‘Going Extra Miles’, and it is able to control its operation cost of the 50 Questers Fleet,” said Mrs. Wilawan.
Tipco Asphalt is the forefront of the asphalt industry in Asia. It is manufacturing and distributing asphalt products, servicing road construction, maintenance and paving industries, essential for transportation within Thailand and cross border countries. The company offers its products through its own fleet of approximately 400 trucks.
