The 13th edition of Asia IoT Business Platform (AIBP), endorsed by Thailand’s Ministry of Digital Economy and Society, will focus on the Thailand 4.0 initiative and shed light on the challenges that Thai enterprises and public service organizations face in adopting and deploying IoT projects, as well as the latest developments in Thailand’s IoT and ICT industry.
AIBP will also address Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), which currently makes up 98.5% of businesses and account for some 70% of national employment. SMEs are encouraged to initiate creative and innovative business, with the use of technologies and R&D, and the Office of Small and Medium Enterprises Promotion has plans for boosting “Smart SMEs”, as part of Thailand 4.0 Initiative.
Dr Pansak Siriratchatpong, Vice Minister, Ministry of Digital Economy and Society will deliver the keynote address and participate in a panel discussion to highlight initiatives rolled out by the Thai government to facilitate and drive the country towards Thailand 4.0.
The event includes keynote address and panel discussion covering a wide spectrum of topics including industry trends and outlook, industrial IoT, transport and logistics, public services, smart city, banking, finance and retail and next generation technologies.
Attendees will gain access to the latest updates of Internet of Things (IoT) information, knowledge-building discussions, and strategic business connections in the region.
This year’s line-up of esteemed speakers comprises IT leaders from local Thai enterprises such as Betagro, Charoen Pokphand (C.P), Electronic Government Agency, Central Group, Digital Economy Promotion Agency, Siriraj Hospitals, Bank of Thailand, Siam Commercial Bank, Thailand Post and Distribution, and many others.
The event is supported by the Singapore infocomm Technology Federation (SiTF), Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Fujitsu, Atilze, Dassault Systemes, Adlink, Robustel, DRVR, Hitachi, Cytech, Aerial Communications, and Parasoft.
