THAI Smile responds to ‘Visit Secondary Cities for Tax Deduction Year 2018’ with promotion campaign – tour package encouraging passengers to visit the secondary cities and apply for tax invoice online

THAI Smile Airways addresses to the state policy of visiting the secondary cities and receiving tax deduction in 2018 up to 15,000 baht. Passengers can fly to 10 domestic routes with full services nationwide and connect to secondary cities in 55 provinces. It joins forces with the ticketing agents to introduce tour packages encouraging passengers to visit interesting tourist attractions, shop, and taste good foods in secondary cities. The aim is to help boost tourism in secondary cities, increase the choice and impress the customers continuously. It also facilitates the request for tax invoices by filling the form online with a delivery service within seven working days.

Mrs Charita Leelayuth, Acting Chief Executive Officer of THAI Smile Airways, revealed that the tax incentive programme not only offers the opportunity for income earners who is eligible for tax payers to have more options available for tax deduction but also aims to stimulate the economy of Thailand, especially the tourism sector, which is considered a key economic driver. THAI Smile has supported public relations and responded to the government policy of promoting secondary cities. In addition, the airline has also launched promotional campaigns periodically to promote such policy and stimulate the tourism in secondary cities as much as possible. Currently, THAI Smile has offered 10 domestic routes from Suvarnabhumi Airport to Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Phuket, Hat Yai, Surat Thani, Narathiwat, Krabi, Khon Kaen, Ubon Ratchathani, Udon Thani, all of which connect to the secondary towns in 55 provinces conveniently.

THAI Smile Airways has also cooperated with travel agents to arrange the value for money package tours for tourists to visit interesting attractions in the secondary cities with four routes. For example, Narathiwat route that comes with “visit Thailand’s southernmost programme”, Narathiwat – Bacho-Tak Bai – Sungai-Kolok, experiencing three major rivers in four of Narathiwat (3 days 2 nights) starting at 7,200 baht / person*. Hat Yai – Phatthalung route, visit the longest bridge in Thailand, witness the natural way of indigenous fishing (2 days 1 night), starting from 8,800 baht / person*. Surat Thani – Ranong route, visit Chiewlan dam, island of emerald heart and dive at the island, (3 days 2 nights), starting at 16,800 baht / person*, and Mae Hong Son – Pai, see the wonder of natural sculpture, Amazing Unseen Thailand (3 days 2 nights) starting at 10,300 baht / person*.

THAI Smile also provides convenience for passengers who want to have a tax invoice. They can fill out the request form for tax invoice online via https://taxinvoice.thaismileair.com. Then THAI Smile will send the filled form to the address given. The whole process will take 5-7 working days in total with delivery service which saves passengers time a great deal.
