Planet 21 Day – Mercure Pattaya Hotel

On the 21st of April, 2018, Mercure Pattaya Hotel celebrated Planet 21 day. Planet 21 is a program designed by Accorhotels which aims to provide a positive hospitality experience. The Planet 21 programme demonstrates the Group’s ambitious goals for 2020, based around four strategic priorities: work with its employees, involve its customers, innovate with its partners and work with local communities.
Mercure Pattaya opened its new initiative, the Organic farm to the public and guests in house. This mini farm aims to promote the holistic agricultural approach which helps the use of natural practices to grow crops as opposed to using synthetic materials. The vegetables grown in this mini farm are being used on a daily basis as well at the breakfast buffet.
Spearheaded by our Executive Chef and his team, our organic farm is one of the many initiatives we have in the pipeline for this year! Aside from that, the vegetables sprouted, were used to prepare some food we kept on the side for people to try while inspecting our mini farm!
