Thailand’s most famous and popular festival, Songkran marks the beginning of traditional Thai New Year.
As most know, water is an important element of Songkran, as exuberant celebrations are enjoyed by all!
This year, Dusit Thani Krabi Beach Resort will, as always, be entering into the spirit of the occasion with, on Friday 13th April, a fun filled day of activities, followed in the evening by a lavish Thai & International Buffet with Entertainment.
From 12:00 hrs. onwards, Cocovida lawn will be the setting for a traditional Long Drum Parade followed by a raft of Songkran games and activities, and a symbolic release of fish into the nearby waters of the Andaman Sea. Refreshments will be available throughout the day with special promotions on cocktails at THB 200 each and snacks starting from THB 150 per portion.
From 18:00 – 22:30 hrs. guests can enjoy our superb Thai and International Buffet Dinner. Our menu simply stunning, with a vast selection of fresh seafood from the Andaman Sea, Khao Chae (A cooling Thai Summer Treat) Sushi, Sashimi, Red curry with roasted duck and iychee, delightful essert prepared by our pastry chefs and much more. During the evening, entertainment includes a Fire Show, classical Thai dancing and live music by house band, “Du-O”.
The price for this fine evening of food and festivities is THB 1,600 nett for adults and THB 800 nett for children under 12. With a further 20% discount of Dusit Gold card.
