Subhashok The Arts Centre (SAC) is hosting a solo exhibition, entitled “The Secret of Devil” by aspiring young Thai artist, Palut Marod, from March 19 – April 24, 2016.
A MFA (Painting) graduate from Silpakorn University, Palut’s work has been presented at both Sotheby’s and Christie’s auctions of Southeast Asian Modern Contemporary Art held in Hong Kong over 3 consecutive years from 2012 – 2014. He also recently participated in the Art Stage Singapore 2016 last month.
In his latest painting collection of “The Secret of Devil”, Palut bravely challenges his identity as the ‘devil”, leading the viewer to the battlefield with a mix of passion, desire and awareness that goodness is a responsibility of life. The artist uses colors, tones and intense textures of paint to communicate those points in his paintings. Throughout his 20 years as an artist, Palut has adhered to his life’s philosophy of never lying to himself, and the dark side deep in his heart is portrayed in such an interesting and skillful way that invites one to discover his secrets.
Subhashok The Arts Centre is located at 160/3 Sukhumvit Soi 39, and is open Tuesdays – Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m., and on Sundays from Noon – 6:00 p.m. For further details, please contact Khun Suchada Tel: +66 (0) 2258 5580 Ext. 401 or E-mail: subhashok.manager@gmail.com
