Mövenpick Asara Resort & Spa Hua Hin—the only Mövenpick hotels and resorts in Thailand to receive an award is celebrating its first accolade; “Kinnari Award – Resort Accommodations” after re-branding to a world-renowned “Mövenpick” brand at the recent Thailand Tourism Awards 2019 ceremony. Mr. Sven Walter, General Manager represented at the event and was proud and honoured to receive this prestigious recognition.

The grand ceremony was held at the Samyan Mitrtown Hall on 27 September 2019 – World Tourism Day and was presided over by the Minister of Tourism and Sports, H.E. Mr. Phiphat Ratchakitprakarn. Tourism is Thailand’s largest foreign exchange earner, and these bi-annual awards recognize the contributions from enterprises that have upgraded the quality, professionalism and service standards in the sector. In total, 94 Thai companies were presented with the kingdom’s highest tourism awards
