Looking at the Capabilities of India at the THAILAND INDUSTRIAL FAIR and FOOD PACK ASIA 2018

Miss Pronong Wongnipon, Marketing Director, TBP Publication Company Limited, spoke at the media announcement introducing the Thailand Industrial Fair 2018 and Food Pack Asia 2018, which are scheduled for 1–4 February 2018 at BITEC, Bang Na, stating that this event is the first in which the Ministries of Commerce and Industry of India through Engineering Export Promotion Council of India (EEPC) aim to prioritize access to the Thai market. They were given the honor of co-hosts and in inviting India’s industry giants covering over 1,000 products to exhibit their engineering technology such as industrial machines, digital industry, energy industry, shipping and transportation and LED technology. They use India’s own pavilion under the event title INDEE Thailand 2018. The event is divided into two major company events, namely, the Thailand Industrial Fair 2018, an exhibition of technology, industrial machinery, machine tools, tools & equipment, industrial products and services, and the Food Pack Asia 2018, the international food and beverage processing machinery and packaging exhibition. Moreover, there are also going to be pavilions from Japan, China and Singapore that participate in this exhibition. Therefore, it is a great opportunity for people involved in industry to trade with these four major countries.

Mr. Bhaskar Sarkar, Exclusive Director and Secretary, Engineering Export Promotion Council of India, (EEPC) , said that the Thailand 4.0 policy has caused great excitement among Indian entrepreneurs, because India places great importance on technology and industry the main mechanisms for driving a nation. Hence, trade and investment opportunities in India have arrived, because, for the first time, the government through Engineering Export Promotion Council of India (EEPC) has successfully gathered over 1,000 Indian products and services to show off their goods and new innovations in Thailand’s technology and industries. Moreover, they are accompanied by many proposals and special discounts along with opportunities to expand business networks among the highly capable manufacturers and entrepreneurs of India.

Meanwhile, Dr. Wichian Ruekpattanakit, Executive Advisor, Information Technology and Organization Management Consultant, National Food Institute, commented on participation at this event, stating that entrepreneurs involved in the food industry will encounter new perspectives with a 360-degree view and learn about the trend of the food industry of the future in the Food Tech 4.0 age as they get ready for changes in the industry.

Meanwhile, Thailand Industrial Fair 2018 is a complete exhibition event for the manufacturing industry of Thailand and the ASEAN nations, which need new technologies, machinery and solutions to solve modern production problems while at the same time seeking business opportunities with the world’s leading brands and companies. The event is being organized in its 16th year and is well-received by domestic and international entrepreneurs as a part for driving the overall industry of the nation. This event will be organized under the theme “Boost Thai Manufacturing into Thailand’s Industry 4.0” with the aim of reinforcing industrial readiness through the exhibition of machinery and technology in the Thailand 4.0 era. Meanwhile, Food Pack Asia 2018, or the exhibition of international food and beverage processing and packaging machinery is in its 9th year. It plays a major role in driving the food packaging industry of Thailand to reach the global level. This event is being organized under the concept of “launch a 360-degree perspective and UP food business profits in the age of Food Tech 4.0”. There are eight exhibition zones composed of the food processing machinery zone, the beverage technology zone, packaging zone, snacks and bakery zone, utensils and tools used in hotels and restaurants and foods and beverages and two new zones, namely, pharmaceutical technology and laboratory and testing technology.
