If Music be the Food of Love… At Dusit Thani Bangkok

Dusit Thani Bangkok has long held an enviable reputation as a patron of the arts. Upholding its fine tradition of promoting music and food in a befitting rhapsody, the hotel will be presenting a string quintet every Tuesday and Friday in October until 20 October 2017, accompanied by an elegant Afternoon Tea buffet.

The five-piece ensemble will be performing to compositions by His Majesty the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej. The late respected king’s passion for music stemmed from a natural aptitude for it. His Majesty had several compositions to his credit and often used music as a bridge between himself and his subjects.

The afternoon tea buffet of dainty finger food and an assortment of delicate pastries such as Traditional Thai Dumpling in Bird-Shaped, Sweet Corn fritter, Mushrooms vol au vent and etc. served at the Lobby Lounge, will all be made from hand-picked ingredients from the Royal Project. Priced at THB 499++ per person, nine percent of the revenue thus generated will be donated to the Royal Project Foundation.
