Global Wellness Day Thailand, a non-profit activity, was recently held at The Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre with the support of the Tourism Authority of Thailand, Ministry of Tourism & Sports, Bangkok Metropolitan Authority, Amarin Printing & Publishing, Thai Spa Association, Bed Buzz PR Agency and World Spa & Well-being Convention. Part of a coordinated global effort to promote wellness, Global Wellness Day Thailand placed particular emphasis on encouraging Thai Wellness through the introduction of activities related to exercise, healthy eating and inner health for the whole family. Altogether more than fifty countries around the world participated in organizing their own Global Wellness Day on Saturday 13th June, 2015. This was the first time that the global social platform, founded in Turkey in 2012, has expanded into Asian countries including Thailand, Singapore, Philippines and Malaysia.
