In the 1st International Conference on Occupational and Environmental Diseases (ICOED), Dr. Sopon Mekthon, Director-General from the Ministry of Public Health’s Department of Disease Control, presented The Occupational and Environmental Health Innovation for Health Sustainability Award to Delta Electronics (Thailand) PCL. represented by Ms. Nannaphat Sareethitivorachote, Human Resources Manager at the Miracle Grand Convention Hotel in Bangkok. Among 600 companies participating in the project, Delta achieved the stellar results in both provincial and national levels.
Delta Electronics (Thailand) PCL.joined the project in Occupational and Environmental Health Innovation for Sustainable Health initiated by the Ministry of Public Health’s Department of Disease Control as an effort to reduce sicknesses in the workforce through promoting good health and personal wellbeing. The Department of Mental health also has a 1323 hotline which is free and available for 24-hours a day. Apart from advices, the hotline offers information on many forms of common diseases such as diabetes and high blood pressure; and risks associated with road accidents, chemicals, electricity and machinery, as well as methods to prevent accidents in the workplace. Such information will contribute to a physically and mentally happy workforce that is able to carry out duties to the best of everyone’s ability.
