A dedicated team of management and employees from Chatrium Hotels & Residences, led by Savitri Ramyarupa, Managing Director of Chatrium Hotels & Residences, joined together with our partners and clients for an exciting trip to Phaniat Luang Elephant Village in Ayudhaya Province as part of the group’s ongoing commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).

Founded in 1997, the Phaniat Luang Elephant Village is a sanctuary for elephants and very popular with Thais and foreign visitors. While the Chatrium group were there, the elephants were treated with a delicious and healthy buffet of bananas, sugar cane, corn and cucumbers.

Following the visit to the elephant village, the Chatrium group took a fascinating tour of Unseen Thailand and visited the temples of Wat Mahathat, Wat Naphameru and Wat Lokayasutharam, with its impressive Reclining Buddha statue. An interesting and joyful day was had by all the attendees.

As a highly respected Thai business, Chatrium Hotels & Residences is both proud and delighted to give something back to our community through these very important CSR events and our “Think First, Think Earth” sustainability programs. We look forward to the group’s next CSR project in the near future
