Celebrate Loy Krathong – Memories of Old Siam at River Barge Restaurant and Pier 28, Chatrium Hotel Riverside Bangkok
Thailand has many festivals which are loved by locals and visitors alike, and none more so than Loy Krathong. Every year at the full moon marking the end of the rainy season, Thai people celebrate this magical festival. People make small floating krathong, traditionally a piece of banana trunk, which are covered with flowers, a candle and incense, and floated down the river to send away past negativity and to give thanks for the rains and the blessings of the river. Many people also make a wish for the coming year too.
So, come join us as the full moon fills the night sky above the majestic Chao Phraya River and celebrate Memories of Old Siam at Chatrium Riverside Bangkok. Free-flow beverages are THB 499 net (non-alcoholic) or THB 999 (alcoholic) with a range of soft drinks, juices, beer and wine to suit all tastes.
