CARLES LAMA & SOFIA CABRUJA PIANO DUOS RECITAL AT HYATT REGENCY HUA HIN

Hua Hin, Thailand – Hyatt Regency Hua Hin is proud to present a classical night with talented piano duos from Spain, Carles Lama and Sofia Cabruja, at the resort’s Regency Room on Saturday 9 April 2016 from 7:00 PM onwards.

Carles Lama and Sofia Cabruja are a paragon of artistic talent in the world of classical music and one of Europe’s most renowned piano duos. They developed their musical talents at an early age and they furthered their musical training at Barcelona Conservatory, and continued their studies at Ecole Normale in Paris then at Hartt School of Music (University of Hartford, USA).

The acclaimed pianists began playing together in 1987 and developed mutual understanding of one another, a remarkable synchronisation, and unique style in the interpretation of the repertoire for four hands. The duos regularly perform internationally in recitals for four hands or with orchestra and have appeared in well-known venues, such as Carnegie Hall (New York), Kolarac Memorial Hall (Belgrade) and Teatro Solis (Montevideo).

During the upcoming 1 hour 30 minutes performance at Hyatt Regency Hua Hin, Carles Lama and Sofia Cabruja will present famous classical music pieces, including Goyescas, El Pelele, Adagio from Symphony N.2 in E Minor, Op. 27, La Valse, Two Dances from “La vida breve” and much more.
