“Bring Smile to Thai farmers”
Chatchai Panyu (4th from right) acting chief executive officer, THAI Smile Airways Co Ltd, and Assoc Prof Dr Sombat Chinawong, director, Institute of Food Research and Product Development (IFRPD), Kasetsart University, together signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between THAI Smile Airways and Kasetsart University on “Bring Smile to Thai farmers” project. The aim is to help the Thai farmers by promoting processed agricultural products by serving them on board as a means to solve the problem regarding the oversupply of the agricultural products, while adding value to them, increasing their income and introducing the products to the international arenas. Nednapang Teeravas, (3rd from right), chief customer service officer, and Sunchan Sathapornwutthikun (2nd from right), president, In-Flight Services Department, THAI Smile Airways Co, Ltd. Dalad Siriwan and Patthinan Varichanan also took part in the event recently held at Institute of Food Research and Product Development (IFRPD), Kasetsart University.
