Bawarchi Chidlom Celebrates Holi – the Festival of Colors

“Rediscover the culinary delights of Bangkok’s finest Indian restaurant”
BANGKOK, THAILAND: Bawarchi Chidlom, Bangkok’s leading destination for fine Indian cuisine, invites guests to celebrate Holi, the globally-known festival of colors, with a delectable dinner of creamy curries and expertly crafted cocktails. Stop by at Bawarchi to join in the fun and experience the joy of this springtime festival!
To denote the end of winter and the beginning of spring, Holi is observed by Hindus around the world once a year. During this holiday, crowds gather in city squares and streets in India, forget differences of age, gender and social status and joyfully celebrate the start of a new season together by throwing colorful powder at each other. The radiant colors and upbeat music have set Holi apart from other religious holidays and made it known and popular all over the world.
In the spirit of this unique time of year, Bawarchi Indian restaurant invites guests to take part in the celebrations by exploring the multicolored and flavorful cuisine of India – Holi’s country of origin. The restaurant currently offers its “Creative Cocktails & Curries” menu paired with unique cocktails inspired by the subcontinent’s myriad flavors.
Dishes featured in this menu include the bright red Tawa Jhinga Masala with succulently grilled shrimp accompanied by a Nri Ice Tea cocktail which is inspired by the iconic Long Island ice tea. Another part of this set is the radiantly yellow Hyderabadi Biryani, a famous braised lamb and rice dish made with saffron-hued basmati and cooked in a Dum (traditional Indian brass pot) paired with a seductive Masala Chai Martini cocktail made with chai tea, Bailey’s Irish Cream, vodka, nutmeg and a cinnamon stick.
“Holi is a very special time of year where people from many different backgrounds come together to celebrate the beginning of spring and the victory of good over evil. It’s a holiday where we gather to share joy, happiness and of course good food and drinks. But the best thing about Holi is that everyone is welcome to join, wherever they are from and whatever they believe. That’s the message we want to share at Bawarchi Indian restaurant with our tasty creations and warm welcoming atmosphere,” explains Mr. Vinay Chawla, Vice President of Bawarchi International Group.
