Attico, China Table and Twenty Seven Bites Honor Thailand’s Vegetarian Tradition with Unique Vegan Treats

From October 20th to 28th, 2017, Venues’ Attico, China Table and Twenty Seven Bites will celebrate Thailand’s annual Vegetarian Festival, also known as the Jae Festival by dishing up some surprising vegan delights presented on sumptuous buffets and set menus.

Every year during the renowned Vegetarian Festival in October, Thailand becomes a haven for vegetarians and vegans for ten days. Stemming from a Buddhist tradition of fasting from meat and other animal products, this time has long since become an important part of Thailand’s food culture. Favorite Thai dishes are prepared vegan and several seasonal specialties are only served during this time, making it a true veggie bonanza.

This year Venues is proud to present its own take on this Thai custom and invites local and international foodies alike to indulge in rare culinary treats created by Executive Chef Thomas Smith, Chef Bruce Hui and Chef Matteo Verini.

From October 20-28, 2017 guests are welcome to taste vegan Italian delicacies at Attico while taking in 28th-floor panoramic views of Bangkok, enjoy a new meatless dinner buffet daily at Twenty Seven Bites Brasserie at THB 1,290++ for Monday to Wednesday and THB 1,590++ for Thursday to Saturday or tuck into China Table’s all-you-can-eat vegetarian dim sum lunch for THB 888++. China table also offers four private rooms where families and groups of friends can comfortably share Chef Bruce’s vegetarian a la carte menu.

“Thailand has a rich cultural heritage which we are glad to reflect in our restaurants. With our chefs’ imaginative creations for this special time of year, we are sure that this Vegetarian Festival will be remembered by food lovers for a while to come,” says Radisson BLU General Manager Deborah Haines.
