24 March – 2 April, 2017 at Patummat Restaurant, The Sukosol Hotel

To celebrate the continuing excellent diplomatic relations between the Kingdom of Morocco and the Kingdom of Thailand, The Ambassador of His Majesty the King of Morocco to Thailand, H.E. Mr. Abdelilah El Housni and Kamala Sukosol, President of the Thai-Moroccan Friendship Association, are pleased to present a 10-day celebration of Moroccan culture, starting at The Sukosol Bangkok on Friday 24 March 2017.

The Festival will highlight Morocco’s unique cultural heritage from cuisine, to arts, to natural produce, to entertainment with special delicacies carefully chosen and prepared by a talented Moroccan Chef coming directly from Casablanca for this auspicious occasion.

Moroccan cuisine is famous for its outstanding flavours and aromas. Its dishes along with the amazing Moroccan Mint Tea Ceremony trace the country’s long history of generosity and hospitality. In 2010, UNESCO listed Moroccan cuisine as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.

Many other elements of Moroccan heritage are to be discovered throughout the festival such as the health benefits of renowned Argan oil, exceptional local handicrafts, traditional Henna tattoos and a special photographic exhibition with images shot by a local Thai photographer of some of the most exotic and splendid sites in Morocco!

The celebration will continue until Sunday 2 April, 2017 with Moroccan Cuisine in Patummat Restaurant, featuring authentic dishes prepared by the visiting Moroccan Chef and available for lunch, dinner and Sunday Brunch.
