Chatrium Hotel Royal Lake Yangon was bestowed the Best Performance FDI Hotel Award 2017 by the Ministry of Hotels & Tourism at the World Tourism Day Ceremony attended by Myanmar Vice-President H.E. Henry Van Thio in Napyitaw City recently.

Chatrium has won the Best Performance FDI Hotel Award for three consecutive years. There are five categories, comprising the Best Performance Award for local hotels, foreign direct investment (FDI) hotels, local tour companies, JV tour companies, and caravan tour companies. The Best Hotel award is based on star ratings, TripAdvisor ranking, occupancy rate, spending on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) as a percent of revenue, and persons with disabilities (PWD) as a percent of permanent employees.
